I work with adult individuals on an one-to-one basis and offer both in-person as well as online/remote sessions.

I provide short term psychotherapeutic counselling or longer term psychotherapy sessions depending on your needs which we can discuss when we first meet.  There is no obligation at this stage to go further.  

We begin with an initial phone chat to get a sense of one another as well as how we might work together and potentially arrange an initial consultation appointment.

Following on from the initial appointment we mutually decide whether further appointments will be taken. 

Once we have agreed to continue we will establish what form of support is appropriate for your needs for our ongoing work together.  We will also decide upon an initial number of meetings and set a review date to determine whether time limited or open ended therapy is appropriate for your situation.  For example, some clients may wish to have a few sessions to talk through a particular problem in order to gain a new perspective while others may wish to deeply explore their personal situation. 

To ensure continuity and effectiveness, our agreeing to work together involves a commitment to meet weekly at the same day and time for a 50 minute session.  That specific time will be held solely for you. We will periodically review our work together to help you be clear about your progress.

I work to the UKCP and BACP registered code of ethics and am fully covered by professional indemnity insurance.
